Pre-birth sessions
The number and content of individual
sessions before birth depend on the ideas and wishes of each woman who I work
with. The content of those sessions are themes relating to pregnancy and the
idea of the birth experience, help with finding the right hospital or another
place for the birth, planning the birth options. Together we will go over the
important matters relating to the beginning of labour, going to the hospital and
the progress of labour and birth. We will talk about how to manage your labour
pains and how to welcome your child to the world. I provide a good knowledge of the czech medical system and my language skills.
During the pre-birth sessions we will also address questions relating to childcare and breastfeeding.
Birth Escort
I offer the birth escort as a service package which includes: stand-by from the 38th week of pregnancy, continuous presence at your childbirth and one postnatal visit.
During the stand-by I am ready to set off for the birth as the woman giving birth wishes.
During the childbirth I provide the woman with care and support as she wishes. In case the father is present at the birth I try to respect the harmony of both parents-to-be and create comfortable and safe environment for them.
During the postnatal visit that I
come to usually after the hospital release we recall the experiences and
impressions from the birth, we talk over all the questions relating to newborn
care and breastfeeding.
Postnatal visit
If needed, I may take care of the new mother and baby after the birth as well.
I lend books.
Where I work
I work in Prague and Central Bohemia. If needed, I can travel to further regions. If I travel outside Prague, I charge the journey.
I have experience from the following hospitals: Krč, u Apolináře, Podolí, Vinohrady, Bulovka, Benešov, Nymburk, Mladá Boleslav, Kladno, Brandýs nad Labem, Neratovice, Hořovice.
